In this position, you will work 5.75 hours per day during the school year. Hiring Special Education Teacher Special Education Teacher. Mancelona Public Schools has an immediate opening for a Special Education Teacher. The candidate must have a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a special education certification. The candidate will be responsible for teaching groups of students with mild or moderate disabilities. Modify existing curriculum on basic subjects to meet each student's learning requirements and build individual lesson plans tailored to their specific needs. Discuss important matters that might impede students' progress with parents and support staff. Ultimately, you will help and inspire children to achieve important learning milestones.
