Bus Driver. Mancelona Schools is hiring a bus driver. We are proud to offer:
· $500 Sign On Bonus after 90 days of driving for the District
· $20.00/HR Starting Wage
· No experience necessary – PAID Training Leading to a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
· Opportunities for additional hours for field trips, athletic events etc.
· Full-time employment with benefits
As a Bus Driver, your major responsibilities will be to:
· Safely transport passengers
· Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
· Assist students in the loading and unloading process
Requirements of a School Bus Driver:
· Good verbal communication skills
· At least 21 years old
· Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
· Be subject to a background check, drug screen & physical

Special Education Teacher. Mancelona Public Schools has an immediate opening for a Special Education Teacher. The candidate must have a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a special education certification. The candidate will be responsible for teaching groups of students with mild or moderate disabilities. Modify existing curriculum on basic subjects to meet each student's learning requirements and build individual lesson plans tailored to their specific needs. Discuss important matters that might impede students' progress with parents and support staff. Ultimately, you will help and inspire children to achieve important learning milestones. PARA Professional. Mancelona Public Schools has a PARA Professional position opening at our elementary and middle school. You will work 5.75 hours per day during the school year in this position. The Candidate must be highly qualified (60 semester college hours, obtained an associate’s degree, or passed the MTTC or WorkKeys test). Maintenance/Facilities Associate. Mancelona Public Schools has an exciting opportunity in our maintenance department. We are hiring a Maintenance/Facilities Associate to join our dedicated maintenance team. You will be responsible to perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required.
